We have all heard about the tragedy that has occurred in Haiti. Already a wide-spread, outpouring of support has come from the U.S. to aid in disaster relief. As God has blessed us, he allows us to bless others in need. Right now, I would like to direct your attention to a real need that affects one of our own.
I know you've heard about how you have to be careful who you donate to in this Haiti disaster. RIGHT NOW, I have friends there who need my help and yours. Mark and Aegis Stuart are there with the Hands and Feet Orphanage in Jacmel, Haiti. This is their location http://tiny.cc/handsandfeet
Aegis works with Inman Realty Group which is the same company I work with. Mark is the lead singer for Audio Adrenaline. These are real people and the need is real.
PLEASE understand the need is IMMEDIATE! They can not wait for the humanitarian aide to get to them. Jacmel is on the other side of a large mountain from where the relief is being extended in Port Au Prince. There is no way to get to Jacmel with the roads, bridges etc destroyed.
They have a small port and an airport (1400 meter landing strip) nearby. Through efforts on the ground here in the U.S., and there where they are, they are scheduled to receive their first supply boat (small boat) today. They are apparently bringing in small boats from the Dominican Republic. Also, Mark has met with the mayor of Jacmel who has given him permission to land small planes at the airport if he can arrange that.

Aegis said she literally watched the mountain split apart behind them. They have limited food and water supplies. They have generators, but are going to run out of fuel soon. They have limited access to internet and home via SKYPE.
OK, why money? They need to PURCHASE gas for boats and planes (God willing) and they'll need to buy additional food and supplies. THEY CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE RED CROSS OR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT TO GET TO THEM! THEY HAVE 45 KIDS THERE AND MORE COMING! They are literally going to have to save themselves with our help and with YOURS. We can help them from here with a simple thing -MONEY!
I wouldn't ask you to do anything I haven't done. Trust me, I know things are tight right now. This past year’s economy has been tough on our business, as I’m sure it has been tough on many of you. We are also in the middle of a campaign where we need to raise money, but right now that’s not important. My wife and I are making a donation, and I’m challenging each of you to do likewise.
